Tesla-powered residential community in the United States has been launched in Houston
The first Tesla-powered residential community in the United States has been launched in Houston, Texas. Developed by Utopia Homes, this community comprises 11 single-family homes located in the Oaks of Shady Acres subdivision. Each home is equipped with Tesla’s solar roof shingles, Powerwall battery systems, and electric vehicle chargers, offering residents uninterrupted power supply—a significant advantage in a state known for frequent power outages due to its independent grid.
The homes are priced between $524,000 and $544,900, which is above Houston’s median listing price of $365,000. Despite the higher cost, demand has been strong, with buyers from other states and countries expressing interest. As of the latest reports, only four homes remain available.
Each residence features modern design elements, including spacious living areas, premium kitchen appliances, and luxury bathrooms. The integration of Tesla’s technology not only provides energy security but also aligns with a sustainable lifestyle, appealing to environmentally conscious buyers.
This development represents a shift towards energy-independent living, combining modern design with sustainable technology to meet the growing demand for reliable and eco-friendly housing solutions.
